About The Role

As a Service Engineer at Van Geloven, your primary responsibility is to keep our production lines and installations running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll perform corrective and preventive maintenance, analyze faults, and contribute to technical improvement projects. Your expertise in both electrical and mechanical engineering will be crucial in reducing downtime and optimizing machine performance.

You will work in a structured and flexible environment, collaborating closely with colleagues while also managing your own tasks. You’ll document your work clearly, follow safety protocols, and be a key player in maintaining a safe and effective production process.

Relocation Support (From South Africa)

• Orientation week in the Netherlands : After two video interviews via Teams, you will be invited to visit the Netherlands for an orientation week. You\'ll meet your future colleagues, connect with our relocation partner (P&D-Care), tour the city, and view potential homes.
• Relocation assistance : We guide you through all practical matters including insurance registration, municipal enrollment, and residence permit applications.
• All travel covered : Van Geloven pays for the orientation trip (including your partner’s travel) and your final move to the Netherlands.
• Household move arranged : We handle the shipping of your household items and furniture.
• Temporary housing covered : Your first two months of housing in the Netherlands, including gas, water, electricity, and internet, are fully paid by Van Geloven.
• Relocation allowance : Provided in accordance with Dutch tax regulations.
• Tax support : Through our partner, we also provide support with your first year’s tax return and related matters.
• Dutch language course : A Dutch language course is offered for you and your family to support your integration.

Who You Are

You are an experienced maintenance technician with strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems. Speaking and reading Afrikaans is a must. You\'re open to relocating, learning a new language, and starting a new life in the Netherlands with the full support of our team.
