Job Purpose
Responsible for the effective day-to-day shift management of slots gaming operations with specific regard to maintaining products and standards of operation, maximizing customer satisfaction and managing spend.Key Performance Areas
Shift management
Put in place duty allocations to ensure maximum coverageInteract and be present on the floor during service to understand and assist clients with requests, special requirements, recommendations, concerns, resolution of complaints, etc.Managing discretionary / complimentary spendReporting slots gaming system anomalies to relevant departments for correcting as per SOPReconciling and resolving pay-out exceptionsManage staff appearance and floor appearance / functioning of equipment and systems for the outletReport and resolve any issues experiencedCompletes shift reportsSlots product
Conduct slots analyses in relation to occupancy levelsLease product managementMonitor & provide input to strategy ito optimal product mixImplements business action plansLiaises with Technical to ensure the maintenance schedule plan is adhered toMonitors and reports on product performance and complete exception reports / journals as per SOPFinancial control
Manages complementary spendAuthorises spend in line with budgetCustomer Relationship Management
Ensures that guests are treated with courtesy and respect at all timesBuilds relationships with regular and VIP punters on the slots floorStaff training on slots promotions (including promotion information, functions, facilities, etc)Shift hand over ensures that staff can provide customer with relevant insightStakeholder Relationship Management
Liaise with F&B on food and beverage offerings and services on the gaming slots floorLiaise and update hotels and management on VIP arrivals and spendInform and update staff on objectives, shift information, VIP information, changes in regulations and the business requirementsCommunicates department’s objectives, standards and operating procedures to internal and external service providers as per SLACollaborates with marketing in the initiation, execution and post mortem feedback of gaming slots promotionsRequirements
Education
Grade 12 or equivalent national qualification in gaming operations at level 43-year Degree in Business Management is preferredGaming Management Development programme is preferredExperience
At least 2 years experience in a supervisory role within the gaming industry environmentMeet the requirements for a gaming licence and FICAWork conditions and special requirements
Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirementsPhysically able to move operating equipmentVisual acuity and ability to identify coloursSkills and competencies
