Job descriptionStrong knowledge of cloud architecture (Azure preferred). Experience with data replatforming and migration in finance or enterprise-scale environments. Proficiency in data transformation, integration, and documentation for subledger consumption. Solid understanding of medallion architecture and strategic data enablement principles. Familiarity with data quality frameworks, metadata management, and governance standards. Proficient in SQL, Python, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and related Microsoft data services. Comprehensive documentation of replatforming gaps, dependencies, and transformation rules. Accurate effort estimation and roadmap planning for data migration activities. Defined data standards and architectural guidelines for finance replatforming. Status reports and issue tracking updates throughout the delivery lifecycle. Commercial value demonstrated through successful replatforming by December 2026. Timely and accurate analysis and documentation. Clear communication and simplification of complex information. Positive feedback from stakeholders and team members on collaboration and follow-through. Delivery of measurable commercial value and progress toward the 2026 programme objectives. Analytical and problem-solving mindset. Strong documentation and communication skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal oversight. Collaborative, adaptable, and results-driven. Integrity, initiative, and attention to detail. 5–8 years’ experience in finance data analysis, data architecture, or replatforming. Experience in large-scale transformation and cloud migration initiatives. Strong understanding of finance systems, subledgers, and reporting environments. Relevant certifications preferred : Microsoft Azure Solution Architect / Fabric Data Engineer / CDMP.
Finance Data Replatforming Analyst
Location : Rosebank (Hybrid – Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays)
Engagement Duration : January 2026 – December 2026

Overview :
Our client in the Financial Services sector is looking for an experienced Finance Data Replatforming Analyst to support the Finance Modernisation Programme within the Data Architecture Enablement and Standardisation stream. The successful candidate will act as a delivery partner, leading the assessment, planning, and execution of finance data replatforming activities to cloud architecture while ensuring compliance with governance and data management standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as a key delivery partner within the data replatforming stream, conducting gap, pain point, and dependency analyses across the finance data landscape.
- Document data transformation rules to enable subledger data consumption in alignment with medallion architecture principles.
- Inform and contribute to the roadmap for source data integration into the subledger via agreed cloud patterns.
- Drive the adoption of data standards and ensure consistent application across all systems.
- Define and communicate data standards that support the subledger strategy and replatforming objectives.
- Establish processes and guidelines for the strategic cloud architecture, enabling data integration, harmonisation, and transformation.
- Identify opportunities for data quality improvement, AI-driven DQ insights, and optimisation of data products for cost-effective data management.
- Estimate the effort required for data migration and replatforming, supporting cross-functional execution teams.
- Prepare for decommissioning of legacy systems and migration to the strategic cloud environment.
- Deliver documentation, reports, and status updates to support programme progress and stakeholder visibility.
