Overview
Drive sales of lifting equipment including chain blocks, lever hoists, slings, spreader beams, wire ropes, forklift cages, crane baskets and related items.
Responsibilities
- Employ strategic sales methods to achieve revenue and targets and enhance ALR brand awareness.
- Plan and execute sales visits to current and prospective customers to build relationships, secure deals and grow the client base.
- Develop enduring, profitable customer relationships via professional engagement and superior service.
- Develop effective call plans to maximise customer time and increase orders.
- Maintain current product expertise, resolve customer concerns quickly and provide feedback on quotes.
- Handle prospects and pipelines using the Syrinx Sales App, generate quotes and explain Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Administration
Fully utilise Syrinx Sales App.Develop and submit weekly call plans and regular sales forecasts.Maintain personal vehicle logbooks and submit expense claims.Support stock takes and handle other assigned tasks.Health / Safety / Environment / Quality
Prioritise safety for Zero Harm, understand lifting equipment risks.Apply relevant SANS standards.Report safety deviations, hazards and incidents.Address unsafe conditions promptly.Conduct
Conduct business ethically and follow instructions.Maintain discipline and adhere to company policies.Uphold good timekeeping and avoid discrediting the company.Qualifications & Experience
Grade 12 Certificate (Matric).Sales or Marketing qualification (advantageous).5 years of sales experience in the lifting equipment industry.Must have a valid driver's licence.Strong sales process and competitor knowledge.Familiarity with lifting equipment products and maintenance.Excellent communication, negotiation and strategic thinking skills.Positive, self-motivated team player with a focus on customer service and safety.Proficiency in key account management.#J-18808-Ljbffr
