Our client is a rapidly growing design and procurement firm specializing in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) for large-scale multifamily, hospitality, and commercial spaces across the U.S. They manage high-volume, high-value projects and are seeking a key operational leader to own their procurement function.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to own the entire procurement lifecycle, from initial vendor communication to final delivery and reconciliation. This is a critical, hands-on role for a professional who thrives on managing complexity and has a proven ability to handle high-volume projects with precision.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all purchasing activities, including for projects with over 350 individual pieces and multi-million dollar budgets. This is a project management-focused role that requires a strategic mindset, excellent vendor management skills, and the ability to ensure every item is tracked from purchase order to final installation.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Procurement Management : Own the entire procurement process, from executing purchase orders to tracking products through to their final destination. Communicate with vendors to confirm orders, lead times, invoices, and shipping details. Track all shipments and deliveries, proactively escalating and resolving issues related to damages, returns, or delays.
- Budget & Vendor Management : Take ownership of budget management for procurement, ensuring all purchases align with project financials. Liaise with the design team to manage procurement lists, identify out-of-stock items, and strategize on purchasing. Manage relationships with warehouses and vendors to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain.
- Warehouse Reconciliation & Logistics : Match all products and tracking numbers against warehouse receiving reports with meticulous detail. Reconcile what was ordered with what was received and delivered, investigating and resolving any discrepancies to ensure 100% accuracy.
- E-commerce Procurement : Handle all aspects of e-commerce procurement, ensuring seamless integration with our project-based purchasing.
- Project & Installation Support : Assist in preparing installation schedules and documentation. Research and vet local labor vendors (installers, movers, contractors) and coordinate on-site resources for installations as directed.
What You Bring
2+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management, with a strong preference for experience in the interior design, hospitality, or construction industries.Proven ability to manage high-volume, complex projects with a large number of individual SKUs.Strong proficiency in Excel (formulas, data organization, tracking) and experience with procurement or project management software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.A highly organized and process-driven mindset, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities independently.A strong sense of ownership and the ability to follow a product's journey from end to completion.Seniorities and Employment
