This role is focused on building and strengthening trade partnerships across Europe to drive growth in premium East African safari travel. You will lead new business development, reactivate dormant accounts, and deepen relationships with existing partners through strategic engagement and compelling value positioning.
Candidate requirements :
- Minimum 5 years experience within the African travel, luxury safari, or destination management space.
- Proven success in B2B sales, relationship management, and long-cycle partner development.
- Strong understanding of the European safari trade landscape, with existing relationships highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to secure new partnerships and reactivate dormant accounts with measurable results.
- Excellent presentation, pitching, and communication skills with the ability to translate operational strengths into agent-focused value.
- Confident using CRM systems, Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint), and comfortable interpreting sales or performance dashboards (Power BI or similar).
- Self-driven, commercially focused, and passionate about conservation-positive travel models.
- Professional, collaborative, and able to represent the brand with credibility and warmth.

Maintain and grow strategic relationships with existing partners to increase usage of the full-service safari offering.Provide regular product updates, destination training, and commercial support to agent partners.Co-create marketing, sales enablement, and digital collateral that enhances agents ability to confidently sell the offering.Conduct account reviews and implement growth strategies tailored to partner needs.Strategic Planning, Market Intelligence & Reporting
Monitor market shifts, competitor offerings, and evolving customer expectations in the European safari sector.Share insights to support internal alignment and strategic messaging across global markets.Deliver market-specific performance reports including pipeline tracking, KPIs, conversion trends, and revenue projections.Manage sales and travel budgets responsibly and in line with commercial targets.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Provide agent-focused input to product, system development, and service improvement projects.Contribute to internal training, team alignment, and cultural cohesion across regions.
