Job title : Marketing and Events Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with the respective editorial teams to identify target audiences, campaigns, and marketing opportunities.
- Conceptualizing and briefing in 360 marketing campaigns to the relevant departments.
- Executing marketing campaigns across different channels and reporting on performance.
- Identify and approach possible sponsors for projects and negotiate sponsorship deals.
- Planning and executing reader competitions and sponsorship campaigns.
- Attend functions and events to ensure that operations run smoothly, troubleshooting should any problems or issues arise during the course of the function or event.
- Organize branding at activation and events, liaising with event organisers to obtain best possible branding opportunities.
- Flexibility to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, as well as be available to travel.
- Building and maintaining relationships with sponsors and service providers.
- Working closely with the Marketing and Subscriptions Team to execute on all marketing initiatives and to identify subscription opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
Relevant tertiary degree or diploma in marketing, communications or similar.At least 5 years’ experience in event management and / or marketing.Experience within a large corporate environment and sponsorship management would be advantageous.Knowledge of relevant software packages and applications.Valid driver’s licenseMedia / Advertising / Branding jobs#J-18808-Ljbffr
