Senior Production Planner

Job descriptionWork within the Syspro ERP system to manage planning data, BOMs, routings, and MRP outputs. Develop reports and dashboards. Identify opportunities to automate manual planning processes. Assist in implementing Al-based forecasting and planning tools. Analyse demand patterns and production efficiency data and provide recommendations. Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth operational flow. Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on capacity, material planning, and demand risks. Support small-scale continuous improvement initiatives in planning, systems, and reporting. Relevant degree. APICS CPIM or equivalent certification advantageous. 35 years' experience in production planning, preferably in a batch-based manufacturing environment. Familiarity with ERP systems and planning modules. Strong Excel skills with exposure to Power Bl desirable Experience in inventory management and shelf-life control Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. Eagerness to learn advanced planning systems and forecasting techniques. Proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively. Good communication skills for working across departments and with international partner.
Production & Inventory Planning :
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with demand forecasts, capacity, and material availability.
- Monitor and adjust schedules to address changes in requirements or constraints.
