Our client, a leading retailer, is seeking an experienced National Tenders Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end tender process. The role requires a strong understanding of tender requirements and protocols, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders nationwide to secure successful outcomes.
Duties
Tenders and RFQs
- Act as the primary contact of the business for all matters related to tenders nationally.
- Ensure timeous and accurate completion of SBD Forms.
- Coordinate with regional resources to ensure timeous completion and submission of tenders nationally.
- Liaise with regional sales departments to ensure accurate and timeous preparation of quotes for submission with completed documents.
- Ensure tender submissions are complete and all required documents are included in the submission.
- Ensure that tender and RFQ submission logs are kept up to date for reporting purposes.
- Review received tender opportunities to identify and remove fraudulent tenders and scams.
Customer Communication
Ensuring all tender portals are kept up to date with the correct company details including but not limited to company registration number, VAT number, BBBEE level, etc.Liaising with various departments to ensure that updated documentation is received timeously.Maintenance of National Contracts folder on shared drive.Reporting and Administration
Extract and distribute CSD Summary Reports monthly.Follow up and document outcomes on submitted tenders and RFQs.Ensure company documents are kept up to date in a centralised cloud storage facility.Ensure Tender Register is kept up to date with submitted tenders and RFQs and their outcomes.Requirements
Five years of experience in a similar role.Deep understanding of Tenders Processes.High attention to detail.Excellent deadline management skills.Highly professional with excellent communication skills.Strong MS Office skills.Attributes
