Job descriptionDefining the methodologies, techniques, and tools that Business Analysts (BAs) should use to gather, document, and analyse business requirements Establish a set of standards and best practices for business analysis Facilitating workshops, collecting, and documenting business requirements Encouraging collaboration and effective communication among BAs, other departments, stakeholders, and project teams Providing templates and guidelines for documenting requirements, process flows, use cases, and other relevant business analysis artifacts Ensure business and technical specifications and user stories provided to technical teams are complete and accurate Manage and oversee requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and implementation activities Manage and guide the BA team, ensuring efficient delivery of projects and tasks Perform the responsibilities of a Business Analyst in both existing and upcoming projects Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering and analysis to ensure alignment with business objectives Develop user stories and related documentation Completed BCOM / BSc Degree 5+ years' Business Analysis experience in the financial services industry 2+ years Senior / Team Leadership / Coaching experience Strong experience of Microsoft technologies (Windows, SharePoint, D365, Power Apps) Integration knowledge (API design, integration between on-premises and cloud and multiple service provider platforms) Knowledge of Infrastructure concepts such as virtualisation, VPN, Cloud etc. Mid-Senior level Full-time Information Technology Insurance, Insurance Agencies and Brokerages, and Insurance and Employee Benefit Funds
Overview
A Financial Services corporation is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst permanently in Centurion .
- Applicants should be South African Citizens
- Applicants should already be living in Gauteng, and have the ability to work in Centurion
- Applicants should be comfortable with a Hybrid environment (~3 days per week)
The primary objective of this role is to assume BA leadership within the specified division.
This team is a recent addition to the division, and the successful candidate is expected to collaborate closely with a broad team of Business Analysts to strengthen and refine the function.
