- This role's purpose is to act as the interface between the Systems Teams, Business and other 3rd Parties, through a set of tasks and techniques, to recommend solutions (New and or improved business process, information systems, software applications) that enable the Functional Department / s and Business to achieve its goals.
- The Systems Business Analyst will service the Financial Services (VAS) and Cellular Business Areas with continued evolution development of FinTech capabilities while maintaining our existing processes.
- We're a fully in-office team. This role is based at our Support Centre in Kuils River, Cape Town.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Essential :
Grade 12 Certificate / MatricA relevant Degree and or Higher National Diploma (Information Technology, Computer Science, System Design, Management Science, Business studies, Information Systems, Business Analyst)Preferred :
Project Management Diploma / CertificateJOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE required :
Waterfall and Agile working methodologies and principles.Working knowledge of implementing and maintaining systems / services / applications.Knowledge of PMBOK and BABOK management principlesAbility to compile quantitative and or qualitative information / reportingWorking with business users to build reports and dashboardsMS Suite Intermediate - Advanced userSystem integration (environment / area specific)Knowledge of Personal Data Protection – POPIAFacilitating successful integration between eCommerce systemsWorking knowledge of :

Established record of accomplishment in implementing FinTech solutionsMinimum of 3 years’ experience in FinTech or financial services industry± 5 years’ experience in Apparel Retail and Systems, with exposure to :Business process exposure / understanding (VAS & Cellular)Process optimizing / improvementElicitation and documenting BRS / BRDIT and 3rd party collaborationSetup, Management and execution of testingProject Management skills with ability to lead and motivate teamsTraining / Change managementSystems / Business support for BAUSystem Architecture understanding (area specific – integration environment / technical competency)Unified Modeling Language (UML) : High-level context diagram, Product Breakdown Structure, System Architecture diagram, Flow Chart, Business Workflow diagram, Business Process Model and Notation, Use Case diagram, Use Case Narrative.Test Execution ensuring launch and maintenance of quality digital products.Basic Oracle / Structured Query Language (SQL) – Area specificResearch / Data Analysis jobs
