HR INTERN

6-month contract Position : HR Intern Venture Resources is a leading consulting firm based in Durban South Africa. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our team for a 6-month full-time contract. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the HR field and develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities : - Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes including job postings resume screening and scheduling interviews - Maintain employee records and update HR databases - Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures - Support the administration of employee benefits and payroll processes - Participate in employee engagement initiatives and assist with planning and organizing company events - Conduct research on HR best practices and industry trends - Assist with performance management processes including conducting evaluations and providing feedback - Support the HR team with various ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed Requirements : - Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field - Strong interest in HR and desire to learn and develop skills in this field - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with HR software is a plus - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism - Must be able to commit to a 6-month full-time contract Benefits : - Hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic HR environment - Exposure to a variety of HR functions and processes - Opportunity to work with a talented and experienced HR team - Competitive salary and potential for future employment opportunities within the company If you are a motivated and driven individual with a passion for HR we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
