Job descriptionResponsible for maintaining SHEQ standards around machinery Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping standards around machinery Responsible for controlling the quality of product processed with your machinery Make sure that you are properly qualified and certified to operate equipment Never allow anyone that is not properly qualified to operate equipment Ensure the machine is locked out and a PTW has been issued before maintenance or cleaning on the machine takes place Responsible for keeping management informed about the condition of the machine Responsible for filling in checklists as per specific equipment requirements Responsible to report any malfunctions immediately Responsible for basic maintenance of machine (checking oil, grease, etc) Responsible to keep machinery and workstation clean and tidy Operators must be reliable to add value to the team Operators will be monitored closely for absenteeism Production records are to be kept and submitted regularly Operators are expected to keep a diary To record daily tasks and any maintenance done on machinery Operating experience dependent on type of machine to be operated Minimum 1 years working experience in a similar role Literate, able to fill in diary and reports Qualification to operate specific machine
Job Summary
Responsible for safe, smooth and productive operating of the baling machine that has been allocated.

- Responsible to report low levels of consumables (rope, wire, strapping etc)
