Operations / Warehouse Manager

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Operations / Warehouse Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and operations, with a proven track record of success in improving processes and increasing productivity. The Operations / Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
• Monitor and track inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Manage a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols
• Analyze data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve profitability
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve warehouse operations
Qualifications :
• Matric
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management / operations
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proven track record of improving processes and increasing productivity
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
• Experience managing a team and developing staff
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of safety and security protocols
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management System (WMS)software
• Must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle
