SKILLS and COMPETENCIES :
Proven experience (typically 2-4 years) in a Digital Marketing Analyst, Marketing Analyst, or similar data-driven role.Demonstrable hands-on experience designing and building email marketing workflows and segmentation (preferably within Adobe Campaign).Strong proficiency in web analytics platforms, particularly Google Analytics 4 (GA4).Experience with other digital marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, social media analytics platforms).Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Google Slides for data manipulation, analysis, and professional reporting / presentations.Familiarity with A / B testing methodologies and tools.Understanding of key digital marketing channels and their associated metrics (SEO, PPC, Social Media, Email).Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.Familiarity with POPIA and data privacy best practices.Desirable (but not essential) :
Experience with other marketing automation platforms.Familiarity with Email Deliverability requirements.SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Google Data Studio / Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI).Understanding of attribution models.QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
Matric (Grade 12)Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related fieldProject Management SkillsComplete knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends and techniquesDemonstrable hands-on experience designing and building email marketing workflows and segmentation ( preferably with Adobe Campaign)Research / Data Analysis jobs
