Chef de Partie

Job descriptionCulinary school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred Previous kitchen experience (advantageous but not essential) Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices Willingness to learn and take direction Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Good communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food across all sections of the kitchen
- Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs
- Ensure food is stored and handled properly in accordance with health and safety standards
- Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times
- Assist with stock rotation and the maintenance of kitchen inventory
- Learn and develop culinary skills by working closely with experienced chefs
- Comply with all hygiene, health and safety regulations
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods
