SENIOR DevOps Engineer - Midrand / Semi-Remote - R650 PH

Were looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead this charge shaping the infrastructure that underpins our next generation of software.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer youll play a critical leadership role in the design and delivery of scalable secure and resilient systems. You will : Lead architecture and implementation of CI / CD pipelines across multiple product teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements

• Fluent English-speaking including Business reading and writing
• Information Technology Qualification
• Min. 5 years working experience with IT Observability Systems like Grafana Prometheus Nagios
• Min. 6 months working experience in OpenTelemetry
• Experience in configuration / development of IT Observability solutions
• Deep knowledge / understanding of OpenTelemetry framework open-source technologies like Grafana (Tempo Loki Mimir) Prometheus and Nagios as monitoring tools
• In-depth working knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Platforms - Operating systems like Linux and Windows Networks Platforms like Databases Web technologies and Cloud technology (AWS Azure Google)
• Experience in Shell scripting Perl Python and a higher programming language e.g. Java
• Experience with ITIL
• Experience in Devops methodologies and CI / CD tools like GitHub / Bitbucket / Jenkins / Nexus / GitHub Actions
• Comfortable in using Git commands on Linux / Unix and Windows
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM)Team Charter
