Transshipping Coordinator (Fleet)

Our client is looking for a Transshipping Coordinator (Fleet) to coordinate and maintain accurate master data and process controls within the Transshipping function by managing routes rates vehicle data and transport zones. This role supports the transportation process by ensuring vendors are correctly set up and paid and system errors are minimized to ensure smooth delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain transport routes rates and vehicle data in SAP ensuring correct linkage to transport zones.

Generate and issue accurate monthly purchase orders to transport vendors enabling timely and accurate payments.

Run and analyze exception reports related to routes and rates; investigate anomalies and apply corrective actions to reduce shipment errors.

Log all queries via the ServiceNow (SNOW) platform and ensure resolution within agreed SLAs.

Work closely with internal teams (e.g. Finance Operations Master Data) and external transport vendors to ensure accurate and timely data input.

Provide guidance and support to TD Controllers to align on data standards system processes and compliance.

Assist in identifying areas of improvement within the transshipping process and support initiatives to increase efficiency and data accuracy.

Minimum Requirements

NQF Level 6 Diploma in Finance or Administration

At least 3 years experience in a Transshipping Creditors Controller or Master Data-related role

SAP experience particularly in TD (Transport Data) modules

Experience working with vendors and managing operational support processes

Preferred Experience

NQF Level 6 Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics

Previous experience in a Supply Chain or Operations environment

Familiarity with ServiceNow (SNOW) or similar service management platforms

Experience in route and rate management within a fleet or transport coordination function
