Job Summary :
Houston Skilled Consultancy is hiring dynamic and customer-oriented Passenger Ticketing Executives to support our growing port operations. As the face of our clients boarding and ticketing services, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth check-in and boarding process for passengers embarking on sea voyages. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy providing top-tier customer service in a travel and hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities :
Welcome and assist passengers at the port terminal and boarding gates with check-in procedures.
Issue, verify, and validate tickets, travel documents, and boarding passes.
Coordinate closely with operations, baggage, and port security teams for seamless boarding.
Provide timely and accurate information regarding ship schedules, cabin assignments, and boarding procedures.
Address and resolve ticketing discrepancies, reservation changes, and customer queries.
Maintain clear and professional communication with passengers, especially in case of delays or itinerary changes.
Ensure compliance with safety, immigration, and port authority protocols during boarding.
Generate daily passenger manifests and report ticketing activities to supervisors.
Support emergency response or evacuation procedures when necessary.
✅ Required Skills and Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent required; diploma or certification in Travel & Tourism, Aviation, or Hospitality Management preferred.
Proficiency in English (verbal and written); additional language(s) is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of ticketing software and systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, or any POS systems).
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Basic IT skills : MS Excel, Email, Scanning / Printing.
Professional grooming and a calm demeanor under pressure.
Experience :
0 to 2 years of experience in ticketing, airport check-in, cruise operations, port services, or front-desk roles.
Freshers with strong communication skills and customer service orientation are encouraged to apply.
⏰ Working Hours :
Rotational Shifts (Morning / Evening) aligned with port operations.
Weekends and public holiday availability is required.
Typical working hours : 8 to 9 hours per shift, depending on ship schedule.
