Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Accountant / Financial Reporting Specialist. If you're passionate about improving processes, automating tasks, and creating high-quality financial reports, this role is for you! You'll collaborate closely with senior leadership and team members to boost efficiency, ensure reporting accuracy, and provide valuable strategic insights.
Responsibilities Include :
- Reporting : Develop and automate Power BI reports and dashboards, create cash flow reports, assist with budgets and forecasts, ensure legal compliance reporting (SARB, SARS), and provide monthly Xero updates for trusts.
- Process Optimization : Analyze and automate financial reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Communication : Create presentations for senior stakeholders and clearly communicate financial insights.
- Team Support : Provide operational support to finance team members and assist with financial management.
- Project Management : Lead reporting projects and work on special initiatives.
- Financial Management : Regularly compare fees, evaluate processes, and review service provider agreements.
Requirements :
3-5 years of post-articles experience (Wealth / Asset management experience is a plus)Postgraduate Commerce degree in Accounting or similar; CA(SA) qualificationProficiency in MS Office Suite, Power BI, Xero, Zap BIKey Skills :
