Job Purpose :
The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational effectiveness, compliance, and performance of the assigned region. This role focuses on monitoring and analysing incidents and trends, coordinating tactical deployments, ensuring service delivery compliance, and providing strategic operational support and reporting to the client. The position serves as a key link between the client, task teams, and internal business divisions to ensure streamlined and effective operations.
- Incident Management and Trend Analysis
- Conduct daily review of incidents across the region.
- Perform trend and risk analysis to identify emerging threats or hotspot areas.
- Provide operational feedback and guidance to task teams based on identified trends.
- Develop proactive response strategies to mitigate regional risks.
2.. Client Liaison and Reporting
Provide daily updates and comprehensive reports to the client on regional trends, incidents, and actions taken.Ensure all task team reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with client requirements.Communicate operational plans, deployment changes, and outcomes clearly to the client.Compliance and KPI PerformanceMonitor performance across all operational pillars to ensure KPI targets are met.Conduct regular audits to ensure full compliance with company policies, firearm and operational standards, and legal requirements.Identify areas of underperformance and implement corrective action plans.Operational Streamlining and SupportOversee the integration and coordination of all services rendered to the client by different BPC divisions.Ensure smooth operational alignment between tactical, technical, and support divisions.Drive process improvements to enhance service delivery and efficiency.Reporting and AnalysisPrepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.Maintain data-driven oversight of incidents, responses, and performance metrics.Present recommendations for operational improvement to senior managementPreferred qualifications / attributes / skills :
PSIRA certification Grade AGrade 12 or equivalent qualificationMinimum 5 years operational management experience / exposureGood Labour Relations skillsExcellent written & verbal communication skillsA working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Earth);Bilingual (English and any other South African language)Good interpersonal and customer relationsAbility to work independently and under pressureWilling to work extensive hours as and when requiredWilling to work after hours and be on standbyClean disciplinary, criminal and credit recordCode 08 Drivers license and own reliable transportExperience of implementing Quality Management StandardsThe ability to manage and deliver projects, draft and implement policies and influence senior stakeholdersExperience of working with control room systemsAnalytical and quality focused able to produce accurate management informationExcellent presentation and IT skills are requiredTarget and KPI focused yet able to deliver whilst maintaining employee engagementExcellent people and performance management skills : motivate, coach, develop, inspire and ability to identify training needsExperience of successfully leading teams to constantly achieve company objectivesThe ability to communicate with all levels, from senior management to operational staff;Firearm competencySkills :
