Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Pastry Chef de Partie to join a renowned luxury restaurant group in Franschhoek. This position is ideal for a passionate individual eager to refine their pastry skills in a world-class culinary environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in the preparation and production of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods
Ensure consistency and excellence in presentation and flavour across all pastry items
Support the Head Pastry Chef and senior pastry team with daily operations
Maintain strict standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety within the pastry section
Assist with stock control, ordering, and proper storage of ingredients
Contribute ideas and creativity to menu development and seasonal offerings
Requirements :
Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or Commis Pastry Chef in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment
Strong technical pastry skills with attention to detail and creativity
Ability to work effectively within a team and under pressure
Knowledge of kitchen operations, stock control, and food safety regulations
A genuine passion for pastry and a drive to deliver excellence
Salary : Negotiable depending on experience
