Overview
At Lumenii , we’re seeking a sharp, dynamic financial leader to join our team as Head of Corporate Reporting. This role leads the consolidation and reporting function for a JSE-listed organisation, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance across all subsidiaries and business units.

- Group Reporting Leadership : Lead the consolidation and reporting function for a JSE-listed organisation, ensuring accuracy and transparency across all subsidiaries and business units.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to IFRS, JSE Listings Requirements, Companies Act, and other statutory frameworks in all reporting outputs.
- Investor Confidence : Deliver clear, compliant, and timely financial reports that support investor trust and reinforce Calgro M3’s market reputation.
- Strategic Insights : Provide accurate and insightful financial analysis that informs executive decision-making and drives sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial consolidations using advanced Excel models.Ensure strict compliance with IFRS, JSE Listings Requirements, and the Companies Act .Oversee elimination entries, inter-company reconciliation, and consolidation adjustments.Prepare board pack computations and investor-ready presentations.Partner with external auditors to deliver smooth, efficient audits.Provide technical IFRS advice and guidance on complex transactions (M&A, share schemes, etc.).Drive continuous improvement and automation in consolidation and reporting processes.Standardise and streamline reporting across subsidiaries for efficiency and consistency.Knowledge and Experience
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) – non-negotiable.7–10 years’ post-articles experience, with 5+ years in financial reporting / consolidation for a JSE-listed or large corporate environment.Advanced Excel mastery (pivot tables, Power Query, macros, complex formulas).Strong IFRS technical expertise (IFRS 15, 9, 16, 3).Proven experience with external audits, group structures, and cross-border operations.Industry experience in construction or property development is a strong advantage.Benefits
