Job description

Qualifications :

Matric / Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent.

Minimum Experience :

Minimum 5 years’ management experience;

Knowledge of the food, beverage and banqueting environment;

Club Experience advantageous;

Good computer skills (MS OFFICE) and other presentation packages;

Knowledge of Jonas Club Management Software;

Must be able to work flexible hours when necessary and able to multitask under pressure;

Drivers licence with own transport.

Personal skills and attributes :

Demonstrate good interpersonal and group communication skills;

Hands on, individual contributor and collaborative team player;

Excellent project and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Ensure professional presentation of function rooms;

Ensure that functions proceed satisfactorily - efficient service, professionalism and speed;

Ensure highest level of service - excellence in all operating procedures, approaches and service level requirements;

Ensure good general housekeeping of the function rooms;

Ensure the effective management of the team.
