Assistant Photo Manager

Job descriptionBachelors degree in photography, business, or a related field preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the photography or hospitality industry Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and photo editing software Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary travel documents
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the Photo Manager in managing the daily operations of the onboard photography department
- Coordinate with the ships management team to ensure smooth operation and compliance with company policies and procedures onboard a cruise ship
- Train and supervise a team of photographers and photo sales associates
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of photo products and supplies
- Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of photo products to passengers
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote photo products and services to passengers
- Conduct performance evaluations for staff members and provide feedback for improvement
- Assist in creating and implementing new strategies to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment for staff and passengers
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols
