A company is seeking a Marketing Assistant who is proactive and detail-oriented to support the marketing team with day-to-day operational, creative, and administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate has at least two years’ experience in a fast-paced marketing environment, is comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and is eager to learn about digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management. Fluent in Afrikaans (speaking, typing and writing).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Support in managing and updating website content, social media posts, and marketing assets.
- Coordinate content creation (copy, images, videos) and maintain brand consistency across all materials.
- Help compile campaign performance reports and track key marketing metrics.
- Manage internal requests for marketing materials, templates, or social media content.
- Assist with email campaigns, newsletters, and basic CRM data management.
- Liaise with external vendors and agencies when needed (creative, digital, print).
- Conduct competitor research and market analysis as requested.
- Help maintain the marketing calendar and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a marketing, advertising, or communications role.Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication (English; Afrikaans a plus).Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools.Basic understanding of Google Ads, SEO, and digital marketing principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
