Overview

Makosi is seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team and propel growth. You will generate new business relationships and cultivate partnerships with existing and prospective customers in the audit and advisory space.

Your Role

As a BDR at Makosi, you'll play a crucial role in our continued growth and success. You'll be responsible for generating new business relationships and cultivating partnership opportunities with existing and prospective customers. You will thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and demonstrate executive presence to be a trusted partner to stakeholders at the world's leading audit and advisory firms. You will receive comprehensive onboarding and training in our value proposition, systems, and processes, ensuring you have the tools to excel in your role.

Your Responsibilities

  • Becoming proficient in articulating Makosi's value proposition to potential clients.
  • Engaging in initial client meetings and discovery calls to identify client needs and potential solutions.
  • Setting appointments and building a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Originating sufficient qualified appointments and pipeline to meet next quarter’s targets.
  • Developing a strong understanding of the industry, clients' challenges, and how Makosi can support them.
  • Establishing yourself as a trusted partner and market educator.
  • Driving pipeline generation efforts that materially contribute to Makosi's expansion.
  • Identifying new market opportunities to enhance our growth strategy.

Onboarding and Progression Milestones

  • In your first month, become proficient in articulating Makosi's value proposition and start building a pipeline of opportunities.
  • In your first three months, ramp to originate sufficient qualified appointments and pipeline to meet targets; begin contributing to revenue.
  • In your first year, be a trusted partner and market educator; smash pipeline targets and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Qualifications and Requirements

  • Preferred : Experience with team-based selling.
  • Preferred : Experience with Hubspot, Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Preferred : Knowledge of cold-calling tactics and email marketing best-practices.
  • Preferred : Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed revenue goals or targets.
  • High-impact communicator with the ability to develop lasting professional relationships with clients.
  • Selling to C-suite, Partners, and HR stakeholders at Professional Services firms.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Outstanding negotiation and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to build what is not there, innovate and roll it out across the business.
