Configuration management and automation : Ansible , SaltStack , Shell Scripting

Development exposure : Bash , Python , with basic scripting for automation

Strong understanding of TCP / IP , DNS , LDAP , firewall rules , and NFS / SMB

Business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and backup strategies

Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills

Excellent documentation and communication abilities

Highly adaptable, analytical thinker, and proactive problem-solver

Education & Certifications :

Grade 12 (Matric)

Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) (or equivalent)

Oracle Solaris Certification

Additional certifications in cloud computing or DevOps tools (advantageous)
