Job Title : Junior OHS / SHEQ Officer

My client, a National Company, is seeking a Junior OHS / SHEQ Officer to be based at their branch in Midrand, Gauteng.

Requirements :

• Matric and relevant additional qualifications.
• Qualifications in Nosa and OHS Act.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety aspects.
• Understanding of financials and profit margins.
• Experience in internal and external sales.
• Management experience of subordinate staff (beneficial).
• Ability to conduct OHS Act compliance surveys, investigations, and implementation.
• Experience in risk assessments, evacuation drills, and compiling site drawings.
• Good physical health for site surveys and audits.
• Goal-driven with self-discipline to visit clients independently.
• Willingness to travel locally and nationally.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
• Minimum 1-year experience with Pastel or similar programs.
• Computer literacy in MS Word, Office, Excel, and Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of project management.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with all management levels.
