Job descriptionEnsure the facility adheres to all local, national, and international Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) laws and standards. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify hazards, evaluate potential risks, and implement appropriate controls and preventive measures. Lead thorough investigations into incidents, performing root cause analyses and developing effective corrective and preventive actions. Plan and oversee both internal and external SHEQ audits and inspections to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement. Foster and embed a strong culture of safety, health, and quality among all employees and departments. Provide necessary SHEQ-related training and ongoing guidance to employees to ensure understanding and compliance. Track and report on key SHEQ performance indicators (KPIs) and progress towards objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders and implement initiatives to drive ongoing improvement in SHEQ performance. Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, audits, training, and other SHEQ-related activities. A relevant national diploma or degree in a field such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or Food Technology. Significant experience (often 5+ years) in a SHEQ or Quality Assurance role, ideally within the food manufacturing or FMCG sector. Familiarity with quality management systems like FSSC 22000 and relevant ISO standards. Proven experience with audit preparation and management CV Qualifications 2 x most recent payslips
