Implementation and Consulting Specialist Payroll

Fully Remote role - Based in Durban

Company with software design and implementation requires the services of a skilled payroll implementation and consulting specialist.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Implementing the software at clients' premises
• Performing need analysis and payroll setup in such a way that all statutory requirements are met i.e. Tax requirements, UIF requirements, Basic Conditions of Employment Act etc. for RSA and Africa Clients (Angola, Nigeria, Swaziland) including Middle East
• Consultations at clients which involve problem solving, giving advice on best practices, statutory issues, supporting clients with payroll processes and implementing modules.
• Assisting clients with their Tax Year Ends and Mid-year Tax Year Recon which involves and SARS E-filing
• Invoicing clients
• Compilation of consulting reports which are signed off by the clients
• Managing own schedule
• Meeting monthly targets which are based on consulting, training, and support hours
• On-site training at client’s premises
• Telephone Support to all clients, including gathering enough information to solve problems effectively, assessing the problem, and performing backup investigation
• Logging of calls on Call Logging System (CRM)
• Presenting Training Courses
• Staying up to date with all statutory changes
• Establishing a network with SAGE Payroll users in the industry
• Supporting upgrades and legal patches
• Dealing with ongoing client queries
• Testing reported problems / queries for clients
