Our client is a small specialist corporate communications and branding consultancy that helps businesses communicate complex ideas clearly. They work mainly in highly regulated industries such as B2B pharma and mining partnering closely with clients as strategic advisors rather than a traditional agency.
Theyre now looking for a Creative Director someone who can blend creative vision with strategic insight and whos as comfortable shaping big ideas as they are leading from the front. This is a hands-on role for a leader whos confident collaborative and commercially minded someone who can connect creative thinking directly to business outcomes.
What the job involves...
Leading the creative function across design copy and content teams
Developing creative strategies that solve business challenges for complex regulated clients
Bringing clarity quality and consistency to all creative work
Providing creative direction feedback and mentorship to the team
Ensuring all creative outputs are on-brief on-brand and strategically sound
Collaborating closely with client service and strategy leads to drive integrated work
Building and maintaining trusted client relationships
Playing an active role in new business and pitches presenting ideas and driving creative confidence
Rolling up your sleeves when needed writing conceptualising and refining work hands-on
Upholding and nurturing a positive no-ego problem-solving culture
What you need to be considered...
10 years of creative experience with at least 35 in a leadership role
Strong B2B background
A proven track record of delivering creative solutions that meet business and communication goals
Strategic articulate and able to translate complex ideas into simple powerful communication
Excellent leadership and team development skills
Experience collaborating closely with clients and navigating corporate environments
A strong portfolio that demonstrates both craft and strategic thinking
Relevant degree in Communications Copywriting or a related field
Bonus points if you...
Come from a copy or strategy background
Have experience leading creative work within highly regulated sectors
Are pitch-strong and commercially minded
