Draughtsman

Prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings, P&IDs, fabrication details, and structural interfaces

Model plant layouts, pipework routing, skid-mounted systems and pressure vessels

Support engineers and project teams by turning designs into detailed fabrication and installation drawings

Review and update existing drawings, ensuring registers and documentation remain accurate

Verify that all drawings meet company, client, and industry standards (BS / ISO)

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to resolve design and technical issues

Provide drafting support during manufacturing and installation phases

Maintain well-organised CAD libraries and document control systems

Skills & Experience :

Minimum of 3-5 years experience, ideally in water treatment, process engineering, or related projects

Proficiency in AutoCAD; Inventor, Plant 3D, or Revit

Knowledge of mechanical, piping, and structural layouts

Familiar with fabrication practices, site installation, and BS / ISO standards

Detail-oriented, methodical, and able to meet tight deadlines

Qualification :

National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Draughting certificate or diploma

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
