HubSpot Integration Specialist - 16034 at Somewhere

Type : Full-Time

Location : Remote

Team : RevOps / Marketing Ops × Engineering

Overview

We’re eliminating single-point-of-failure risks across our RevOps stack. You’ll be the internal backup for our HubSpot Manager and the operational bridge to Engineering—so projects don’t stall when key team members are unavailable.

What You’ll Do

HubSpot + Automation

Build, maintain, and QA HubSpot workflows, properties, lists, pipelines, and permissioning.
Implement and monitor automations in Make and Zapier (error handling, retries, alerting).
Create and maintain Google Apps Scripts to extend Sheets / Docs and connect data flows.
Own routine admin (user setup, audits, data hygiene) and ticket triage.

API & Integrations

Scope, implement, and document integrations (e.g., HubSpot ↔ Rix app and other tools).

Write / read REST APIs (auth, pagination, rate limits, webhooks) and transform data (JSON).

Maintain connection health (keys / credentials rotation, webhook reliability, error logs).

Reliability & Redundancy

Shadow and document Pedro’s key processes to provide true coverage.

Maintain a living runbook : architecture diagrams, data maps, playbooks, rollback plans.

Proactively spot failure points; propose simplifications and guardrails.

Collaboration & Delivery

Work closely with Engineering (Leo) to translate business needs into technical tasks.

Manage a steady ticket flow (~100+ / month today) with clear SLAs and communication.

Write crisp change logs and communicate releases to stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

1+ years in RevOps / Marketing Ops / Automation (junior-mid) with hands-on HubSpot.

Proven experience with Make and / or Zapier (routers, iterators, error paths).

Google Apps Script (JS) proficiency for Sheets / Docs automation.

Comfortable with APIs : headers, auth, JSON transforms, testing / debouncing webhooks.

Clear written documentation and stakeholder communication.

Strong task ownership and bias for reliability.

Nice-to-Haves

HubSpot certifications (Admin, Marketing, RevOps).

Experience with operational analytics (GA4 / Looker Studio / BigQuery) or SQL basics.

Background in data quality, dedupe strategy, and schema design.

Experience integrating finance / ops tools or internal line-of-business apps (e.g., Rix).

Basic Git / GitHub workflow familiarity.
