Our client is urgently seeking an experienced HR Officer to join their team on a 6-month temporary contract to provide support during a maternity leave period. The ideal candidate will be a strong, confident HR professional with solid IR and union experience, and comfortable engaging with management at all levels
Location : Pinetown
Contract Duration : 6 Months (Maternity Cover)
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Officer with strong IR and union exposure.
- Confident and assertive personality – able to say “no” when necessary.
- Experience working with Sage 300 Payroll (essential).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage at all levels of the business, including executives.
- Minimum. 5+)years’ HR experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and resolve union matters effectively.Engage and communicate with Senior and Executive Management.Uphold company policies and procedures with confidence.Handle industrial relations matters, including drafting and issuing warnings.Conduct interviews and recruitment processes.Manage Employment Equity submissions and participate in EE meetings.Oversee and administer Payroll (Sage 300).#J-18808-Ljbffr
