• PK-1A leading manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Wholesale Sales Representative to join their dynamic team.

The role focuses on the growth and sale of edible oils and bakery oils nationally, based in either Durban or Johannesburg depending on the candidate's location.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesRequirements : National Senior CertificatePost-Matric qualification is an advantageMinimum of 5 years experience in the wholesale sales role within edible productsMust be willing to travel nationally within South AfricaKey Responsibilities : Initiate communication with current and prospective wholesalers to grow the 20lt Palm and 20lt Oil bucket market, as well as baking oil ingredientsWork closely with buyers and owners to drive sales into wholesalers and ensure growth through effective sales plans and strategiesProvide technical support to end users, train wholesaler representatives, and assist customers in converting from competitor productsRespond to inquiries, providing comprehensive information to customers and internal departmentsAddress customer needs, queries, and concerns courteously and promptlyBuild strong customer relationships by delivering personalized service and post‑sale supportCollaborate closely with cross‑functional departments to ensure a seamless customer experienceAccurately document customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutionsMeet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the line manager while delivering exceptional customer serviceManage market expectationsResolve tickets efficiently and effectivelyDevelop and implement channel strategies and marketing plans
