A game reserve in the Eastern Cape is seeking a hands-on, systems-savvy General Manager to lead daily operations with precision and care. This live-in role demands a proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
- Full operational oversight of the lodge, including staff, guest experience and service standards
- Oversee and execute daily room checks to maintain high standards
- Manage and streamline administrative duties with accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate and confirm guest bookings for day safaris and river cruises
- Utilize hospitality systems to monitor performance and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related fieldProven experience in hospitality management, preferably in a lodge or reserve settingStrong administrative and systems knowledge (PMS, POS, booking platforms)Own reliable vehicle NON- NEGOTIABLEWillingness to work without a fixed cycle (standard weekly leave applies)Skills
