Senior Process Engineer

Job descriptionA Bachelorâs degree in chemical or metallurgical engineering is required; Pr.Eng preferred. â Minimum 10 years of industry experience, with at least 5 years in electric smelting furnace process engineering. â Experience with mass energy balances and electric furnace commissioning is advantageous. â Advanced understanding of process design principles and furnace sizing. â Skills in project management, troubleshooting, and maintaining existing systems are essential. â Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are necessary for collaboration and client interaction. â Provide engineering procurement deliverables for studies, tenders, and projects. Prepare process designs and manage project specifications and budgets. â Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain professional registrations. â
Job Description
- The role is within Business Development & Engineering, reporting to the Process Manager. â
- It involves designing, sizing, and commissioning processes for electric smelting furnaces. â
- The position is permanent and requires engagement in project phases from feasibility studies to EPC contracts. â
