Key responsibilities :
Analyse historical and forecasted component usage, failure rates and cost trends.
Identify high-cost, high-frequency components for optimisation.
Collaborate with Engineering to validate technical feasibility of alternative parts.
Support supplier engagement and onboarding for alternative sourcing.
Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives aligned with TCO principles.
Track and report on realised savings and performance improvements.
Required qualifications and experience :
Bachelors degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management or related.
5+ years experience in mining, heavy industry or OEM / repair environments.
Strong understanding of component lifecycle, failure modes and repair economics.
Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
Familiarity with TCO modelling, supplier performance metrics, and inventory optimisation.
Familiarity with service exchange and component repair models.
