Key Responsibilities :
Identify cost saving opportunities within the contractor labour component.
Conduct labour rate benchmarking across onsite and offsite service providers.
Identify rate outliers and negotiate reductions or standardisation opportunities.
Develop and implement standardised labour rates across relevant functions.
Scrutinise labour hours claimed versus actual work performed.
Introduce role-based labour allocation controls and cap monthly billable hours per resource.
Review contractor performance and utilisation to identify inefficiencies.
Establish and support a contractor labour governance framework.
Collaborate with HR, Finance and Engineering to align contractor labour cost structures.
Support implementation and tracking of contractor labour cost optimisation initiatives.
Required Qualifications s Experience :
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain or related.
5+ years experience in mining, manufacturing or maintenance operations.
Proven experience in labour cost modelling, productivity analysis and rate benchmarking.
Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
Familiarity with labour costing systems will be advantageous.
