A fantastic opportunity awaits you to join. The company is seeking experienced and motivated Engineering Support to provide assistance to the lead engineer, as requested, in the areas of schedules, estimates, progress reports, meetings, procurement, activities, etc. This role is based in Liberia .
Key Responsibilities
- Under general supervision, perform and check most types of calculations and design using both computer-aided and manual design techniques.
- If serving in a lead or area lead position, perform all or some of the following : organize / plan jobs, write / review specifications, prepare / maintain schedules, develop / monitor estimates and manpower forecasts, assign work, work with project / client / field, material procurement, permit, and subcontract activities.
- Perform squad check of vendor data and drawings from other disciplines.
- Actively participate in, and maximize the use of, company’s Knowledge Community and other available resources.
- Travel, as required, to ensure the successful execution of project and / or department goals.
- Attend external technical seminars and self-enroll in training courses for in-house management.
- Exhibit thorough understanding of pertinent codes and governing regulations and industry practices, etc.
- Assist, as required, in the development of department standards and procedures.
- Assist in audits.
- Prepare and perform schedules, estimates, progress reports, material forecasts, meetings, procurement activities, etc.
Qualifications and Skills
BSc in Engineering.Minimum 10 years of professional engineering experience.Professional Registration and membership in external technical society preferred.How to apply
