Product Knowledge & Expertise
- Maintaining professional & technical knowledge by attending workshops & conferences.
- Providing on-site and remote training to healthcare professionals on proper use and maintenance.
- Addressing customer inquiries regarding product functionality, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Creating and delivering training sessions, manuals, and materials to help customers integrate new products.
- Conducting demonstrations at trade shows, conferences, and to potential clients.
- Tailoring demonstrations to specific needs of healthcare professionals.
Applications Support
Offering technical support and ensuring equipment is used to its full potential.Assisting clients in optimizing the use of equipment for specific medical applications (e.g., diagnostic equipment).Collaborating with healthcare providers to customize solutions based on clinical environment and patient care needs.Working closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical insights.Assisting with proposal preparation and presentations by offering detailed product knowledge.Supporting sales teams in responding to tenders and requests for proposals.Product Feedback & Improvement
Gathering feedback from healthcare providers regarding performance issues and needed improvements.Relaying this feedback to management to improve products and address issues.Regulatory Compliance
Ensuring products comply with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.Assisting customers in navigating regulatory requirements.Monitoring trends in healthcare and medical device industry to provide insights into customer needs, emerging technologies, and competitive products.Participating in industry events and conferences to stay informed and network with key stakeholders.Administration & Reporting
Completing detailed records of all work and preparing weekly work reports.Preparing product reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information & trends.Updating & maintaining product database on an ongoing basis.Driving sales by identifying potential customers and passing leads to the sales team.Supporting strategies for promoting the products and expanding the customer base.Building & maintaining strong relationships with customers.Supporting achievement of sales quotas and targets.Qualifications
A Grade 12 certificate as a minimum requirement.Tertiary qualification in related field advantageous.Experience Required
Fluent in English, verbal and written.3-5 years experience in the medical field.3-5 years experience in a clinical laboratory environment preferred.Academic research experience advantageous.Strong IT knowledge and experience advantageous.Experience with troubleshooting beneficial.Capabilities
Attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Results orientated.Good communication skills.Sales driven, dynamic, outgoing, and motivated.Proficient in MS Office.Own reliable vehicle required as well as a valid driver’s license.Must be available to travel both nationally & internationally as and when required.Benefits
