Financial Manager – Cape Town

Overview

Our client is a medium-sized enterprise with 40 permanent employees across two branches, looking for a CA(SA) who wants to mix numbers with business adventure. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys strategic thinking and hands-on business involvement.

The Opportunity

They are seeking a qualified CA with 3–5 years post-articles experience, ideally in a financial manager role. The successful candidate will :

• Have a strategic financial planning mindset
• Conduct ongoing cost analysis to drive cost and process optimisation
• Manage an existing accounts team (bookkeeper and assistant)
• Confidently negotiate supplier and other contracts / terms

There is definite scope for growth, with the potential to move into a Financial Director position over time.

Important

This is not an auditing role and is not suited to someone who thrives in a structured, corporate audit environment. This is a medium-sized enterprise role with plenty of variety, responsibility, and opportunity for strategic impact.
