Cape Town - CBD - Financial Controller required for professional services firm

Our client is seeking an experienced and energetic Financial Controller to provide both strategic and operational financial expertise, supporting the Finance Director and wider leadership team.

This role is critical to ensuring robust financial management, insightful reporting, and proactive collaboration that enables sound decision-making, efficient operations, and long-term sustainability of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Management

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in line with IFRS and internal policies
• Prepare accurate management accounts, Board packs, and variance analysis with clear commentary
• Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements and manage the external audit process
• Monitor working capital, cash flow, and liquidity to ensure financial health
