Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling their AI-powered supply chain visibility solutions to businesses across various industries. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships, and achieving sales targets. The Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in expanding their market presence in South Africa and driving sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development : Identify and target potential businesses in industries such as logistics, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and retail, leveraging our supply chain visibility solutions to address their needs.
- Sales Strategy Execution : Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new business, meet or exceed sales targets, and expand our customer base.
- Relationship Management : Build and maintain long-term relationships, understanding their supply chain challenges and proposing tailored solutions to drive value.
- Product Demonstrations and Presentations : Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our platform, highlighting features such as asset intelligence, shipment intelligence, and AI-driven insights.
- Market Research : Conduct research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings, using insights to refine sales approaches and strategies.
- CRM Management : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, interactions, and pipeline progress in the company's CRM system.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing, product, and technical teams to ensure alignment on needs and solution delivery.
- Reporting : Provide regular updates on sales performance, market feedback, and opportunities for growth to the Sales Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
Education : Bachelors degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred but not essential).Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in technology, logistics, or supply chain solutions.Industry Knowledge : Understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, or asset management is highly advantageous.Track Record : Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and building relationships.Skills and Competencies
