About the Role :
A leading national retail group is seeking an experienced and hands-on Store Manager to oversee all operational, financial, and HR aspects of a busy retail branch. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in retail management, stock control, cash handling, and staff leadership in a large-format retail or FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage overall store operations to achieve profitability and sales targets.
Oversee store administration, cash office, and point-of-sale operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and retail standards.
Lead, coach, and mentor the store team to maximise productivity and development.
Plan, implement, and monitor stock control, shrinkage, and inventory accuracy.
Coordinate promotions, merchandising, and customer service initiatives.
Analyse financial and operational reports to drive business improvements.
Manage HR processes including scheduling, leave, and performance management.
Minimum Requirements :
Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
Diploma, BCom, or Retail Management qualification (advantageous).
5+ years’ experience in retail store management.
Experience with SAP, UNISOLV, Qlikview, or Kronos (advantageous).
Strong financial, analytical, and leadership skills.
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.

Location Preference :
