We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Senior Project Coordinator with proven experience in IT Asset Management and end-user upgrade deployments. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate enduser for project upgrade, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations while maintaining compliance with IT asset policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution
- Develop and manage detailed project plans for the in-place upgrade of end users.
- Manage and co-ordinate the rollout of new Dell laptops, with a migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
- Manage end users to upgrade to Windows 11 software
- Manage timelines, stakeholders and communication. Ensure efficient handshakes between technical resources, asset manager and change management teams.
- Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- IT Asset Management
- Maintain accurate records of hardware and software assets.
- Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and asset lifecycle policies.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams for asset tracking and reporting.
- Stakeholder Management
- Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to end-users during the upgrade process.
- Manage expectations and ensure user satisfaction post-upgrade.
- Technical Oversight
- Oversee compatibility checks, backup procedures, and rollback plans.
- Ensure all systems meet security and performance standards post-upgrade.
- Troubleshoot and resolve upgrade-related issues.
Experience
Matric and a Bachelors degree in IT or similar5+ years of experience in Project Management within IT environments.Strong background in IT Asset Management and lifecycle tracking.Experience managing Windows / Mac in-place upgrades or similar deployments.Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL certification is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
