Responsibilities
- High-Brow Outreach & Business Development
- Executive Cold Calling : Make 100-plus outbound calls per day to targeted lists of attorneys (e.g., Harvard Law, Wall Street finance) and high-caliber professionals.
- Sophisticated Communication : Utilize legal jargon and highly professional language to initiate conversations, leave clear voicemails, and send concise follow-up messages across multichannel outreach (phone, LinkedIn, email).
- Niche Sourcing & Qualification : Use LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced list-building techniques to identify and lightly qualify placeable attorneys based on firm pedigree, practice area, and key career signals.
- Pipeline Management & Conversion
- Warm Lead Response : Monitor inbound interest and respond within minutes whenever possible to reduce time-to-first-contact and ensure no lead slips away.
- Incentive Design : Work closely with leadership to design and implement the mechanics of the incentive program. Commission will be tied not only to successful appointments set but also to longer-term metrics tied to revenue, reflecting our typical 3 to 6-month time-to-close cycle.
- CRM Discipline : Maintain the CRM meticulously, logging all calls, outcomes, next steps, and dispositions.
- Future Leadership & Operational Growth
- Process Playbook : Quickly become the expert, iterating outreach scripts and objection handling to improve connection rates.
- Management Pipeline : Demonstrate the aptitude to eventually manage new hires and coach junior callers on talk tracks, pacing, and tone, driving the overall cold outreach function.
- Reporting : Track key metrics (show rates, set rates, conversions by channel) and create simple weekly dashboards to guide strategy.
- Qualifications
- Experience : 4+ years in agency recruiting, executive search, or outbound sales with heavy phone time. Legal recruiting experience is most ideal and a significant advantage.
- Communication (MUST HAVE) : Clear, neutral spoken English and superior writing skills, with the ability to speak sophisticatedly and use legal industry vernacular.
- Grit and Consistency : Proven ability to handle 100-plus dials per day and convert that volume into qualified meetings.
- Technical Skills : Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM discipline, and comfort with call analytics.
- Aptitude for Leadership : Desire and capacity to grow into an operations and leadership role, managing others and designing repeatable processes.
Position Details
