Overview
To support our client's ambitious growth, we are looking for a passionate, commercial, talented, and ambitious individual to help grow their beauty brands. As a BDR for Indie boutiques, you will work closely with the Sales Director to help develop the brands in the US and Canada. You'll maintain relationships with existing accounts as well as open new ones. The brands to manage are AKT London and Floris London. This role offers a fast-paced, dynamic environment with opportunities to contribute to all functions of accelerating revenue with independent accounts such as perfumeries, apothecaries, and spas.
Location : Fully-remote, work from home, 9 AM - 5 PM EST.
Your Mission
- Identify potential new clients to partner with by researching each state’s brands, price points, and current carry.
- Contact prospects via email, cold calling, and other channels.
- Research new clients using social networks, magazines, and other media creatively.
- Share knowledge of the brands and provide key selling points; address questions as needed.
- Manage the CRM pipeline for new prospects and review weekly with the Sales Director.
- Suggest opening orders (retail products, testers, sampling) and create personalized offers with free SKUs vs. billed ones.
- Organize and deliver training sessions with clients.
- Execute retail marketing initiatives to support launches (windows, sampling, partnerships, etc.).
- Identify additional support needed to secure business.
- Update and maintain the CRM with new leads and accounts; update reporting daily and review with the Sales Director weekly.
- Collaborate with sales and accounting teams to monitor open orders and ensure timely purchase orders.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
Flawless written and spoken English (role is 100% in English).Excellence in sales with proven success in working with independent accounts.Experience consulting with business owners and building strong partner relationships.Experience with Faire is a plus.Strong entrepreneurial spirit; able to work independently within a small team.Sell-in and sell-through oriented.Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines.Structured mindset with high multitasking ability.Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.High IT literacy, especially in Excel and Outlook.Strong interpersonal skills.About Our Client
