Production Manager

Our client a well established transport manufacturer is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in versatile logistics production and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of production including scheduling quality control and cost management.
• Develop and implement production plans ensuring that deadlines are met and products are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering procurement and logistics to optimize production processes and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Implement and enforce safety and quality control procedures ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Continuously monitor and analyze production metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage and develop a team of production staff providing coaching training and support as needed.
